Mets Fan Arraigned For Temporarily Blinding Braves Players

A Bronx man was arraigned on reckless endangerment charges Sunday after prosecutors say he flashed a light into the eyes of Atlanta players during Friday night's Mets game. The Queens district attorney’s office says 40-year-old Frank Martinez temporarily blinded the Braves' pitcher and shortstop by aiming a high-powered flashlight at them in the eighth inning. If convicted, Martinez faces up to a year in jail and a $5,000 fine. NY1
